League of card sharps

To help grow the business and drive engagement, we will be offering a couple of shooting challenges to visitors to our establishment (for safety reasons visitors are by appointment only, but we are very amenable!).

Challenge 1: The league of Card Sharps.

3 x 3 sets of playing cards set edge on at 15 yards. 9 shots, no time limit. Using your own rifle, or one of the “shop” guns.

A league table will be kept of who shoots the most cards without missing a shot. If a perfect “9” is achieved, the challenges moves to 10 cards, etc.

Challenge 2: The Bell Challenge.

I am constructing a bell target for this (see photos).

The challenge is: a 6mm hole in steel faceplate over a red fire bell. Also shot at 15 yards, the challenge is simple, ring the bell with each shot as many times as you can without missing. A league table will be constructed for the results. Separate  tables will be kept for .177 and .22, ‘scopes and open sights. .22 (5.5/5.6mm) is VERY challenging!
