AIRGUN REPAIRS AND SERVICING
AVAILABLE NOW!!!! BSA LIGHTNING CLX MODIFICATION!!!
Trigger improvement- £40 plus p&p (£6.00 if sending trigger unit only).
As supplied from the factory, most guns exhibit a noticeably poor trigger performance. The pull weight is heavy, even with the limited adjustment maxxed out, the stop between first movement and shot release is imprecise, notchy, and very creepy. We fully strip the unit, remove some tension from sear spring, fit a longer adjustment screw, and deal with the terrible finish on all of sear bearing surfaces. This dramatically improves the performance to provide a light first stage, acrsip stock, before a light and consistent shot release. If preferred you can send just the trigger unit to save costs. Contact us if you need advice on removal.

BSA AIRSPORTER/MERCURY CAST TRIGGER BLOCK REFINISHING SERVICE! £40 plus £7.00 p&p (trigger unit only)
The beautifully shaped trigger block on these guns is a focal point of their appearance. They are enameled alloy, and after decades of use they tend to be scratched and corroded with missing and lifting finish.
We strip the finish chemically, sand back any damage, polish the unit, etch prime and colour coat satin black, then clear coat and polish.

Whilst working on these guns the most common complication is the piston being completely seized in the cylinder due to swelling/degradation of the head and washers.
This can be very difficult to remedy, but we have developed processes to deal with this!
Consequently we advocate sending your gun to us to fit the above parts, if possible.
For just £160 plus shipping you would get the hard work done for you, the power tested and the rifle returned shooting better than when it left the factory!!!
BSA break barrel pivot pin modification
Do you own a well used BSA classic break barrel? Chances are the barrel pivot has worn and there is play in this area which will ruin accuracy.
We drill the holes out oversize to 6.9mm and turn down 7.0mm tool steel to fit, and deepen the notch in the barrel detent to suit.
Send us your action and we will return it with a wobble free lock-up for £60 plus £17 shipping.

New service available........Pellet Testing!

If you have been around airguns for any time you will be familiar with the fact that every gun has a “preferred” pellet with which it will shoot best. The issue is that this is specific to the individual gun (two identical rifles from next to each other on the production line can prefer a completely different pellet model, or even brand!), and you do not know which pellet is the magic one! One of the most frequently asked questions on airgun forums is “what pellet is best for my XYZ gun?” to which the only honest answer is “I don’t know, you have to test different ones to find out! This involves buying lots of pellets (most of which will not suit your gun) and settling down to some serious chronograph and range time. This is both time consuming and potentially expensive.
We can now help with this situation. Drop your gun off with us for 45 minutes (for 4 pellet types) or an hour (for 6 pellet types), and we will power test and accuracy test your gun for you for just £30 or £40 respectively. With pellets at around £20 per tin this represents excellent value for money, and the chrono time will also confirm that your rifle is legally compliant and in good health.
