A few little issues being corrected on a current project:

Trigger unit exhibiting damage from previous careless handling whilst being worked on (mostly hidden by stock, but unmissable once you have seen it…) Damage ridges taken down, and primer/paint applied by hand. This issue no longer catches the eye.

Also at some point in the past, the foresight hood had been painted with satin black to disguise corrosion. No problem in it’s own right, but whoever was responsible had then refitted it before it was hardened off, and left a dirty great thumb print forever squashed into the surface. This paint finish was burned off, corrosion removed, surface polished, and the hood was reblued.
