Theoben stock as delivered

Customer stock from a Theoben Evolution (looks like it might be the work of Custom Stocks in Sheffield, I believe they supplied Theoben at the time).

Customer requested that it be stripped of varnish finish, visual impact of damage reduced, stained a slightly darker hue and given a satin oil finish. He also would like the adjustable recoil pad he supplied sized and fitted.

The initial stage is stripping the existing finish, which is where I have stopped for now as I have actually run out of fine sand paper…!

Will restock today, and start fixing the damage tomorrow.
