Restored Junior
With all the hard work taken care of, here is the end result!
Lovely little Webley Junior in .177 made between 1950 and 1960 (can’t be more specific, in this period Webley used repeating batch numbers rather than unique serial numbers). This was designed to be a low powered youth rifle. The construction is of steel cylinder and tinplate barrel (pressed steel wrapping a brass rifled barrel, fitted in a beechwood stock.
This little beauty is ready to go home with someone who wants to relive their youth, or would like to add something different to their collection.
It is now very pleasant to shoot, making 4.5ft/lb muzzle energy, and surprisingly accurate at 15 yards!
The rifle will be added to our Gunstar rifle sales listings over the weekend and is available to view, test and purchase from our trading unit.
It will be priced at £150 for face to face collection, or transferred to your local RFD at your cost.
